Dreams in Action

Sound Healing & Vision Boarding Mastermind

“We’re here to help you get your passion project out into the world.”  These encouraging words by Sean McDonald kicked off our Monthly YCP Mastermind in September, and they were such a perfect fit for a day of sound healing and vision boarding with passionate, like-minded people.

Those of us pursuing our passions know that you need to let yourself be a dreamer every once in a while. Then, once your dream is ready to launch into the world, it’s always nice to have a group of supportive friends around you to help.

That was the main theme of our SoundBowl Healing & Vision Boarding Mastermind in September: Dreams in action. It’s a perfect fit for T1ME & Co, because that’s what we do: help people make their big visions a reality through community, connection, and conscious co-creation.

And there’s really nothing like crafting a vision board with a whole bunch of other like-minded people to get clear on your dreams and then put them into action.

As the melodic, almost otherworldly sounds of Hollis Baley’s Tibetan and crystal bowls filled the room, Jessie Ashley took us through a guided meditation. The rhythm and sincerity of her words got everyone in touch with themselves on a deeper level… the perfect place from which to create.

“Envision your life from a place of being deeply connected with yourself.”

The dreamy sound healing song blessed the room as we opened our eyes. Looking around at all the calm, post-meditation faces, there was a sober excitement for what we knew was coming.

“The only place you really want to envision your life from is a place of being deeply connected with yourself.” Jessie said. “So, start here. Find images and words that resonate with what you want to create in your life – what you want to manifest into reality – and put them on your board…”

She held up a big white sheet of poster board. We were then instructed to grab a magazine, scissors, and a glue stick, and basically step into our Inner Child. Craft supplies were scattered all over the tables, and at first we all looked around not really knowing where to start.

“What belongs on this vision board; what do I really want for my life?”

Conversation became quiet though as we all immersed ourselves in the task. Flipping through magazines, we’d find pictures or phrases that jumped out at us, and start clipping and ripping away. Where should I place it on the board? Do I rip everything first and then paste it on, or should I do it as I go?

What belongs on this vision board; what do I really want for my life? The energy was electric but grounded because of Hollis’s melodic bowls singing in the background.

Once everyone was done flipping, cutting, pasting, and rearranging, we started mingling again, but it felt different. Almost… more focused. It’s incredible what can happen when you have a vision for your life, and vision boarding can really help with that. Add a beautiful crystal bowl soundtrack in there and you have a dreamy experience that has no choice but to lift you up

If you embark on this exercise yourself, observe what you’re drawn to as you flip through images and words. It’s even more exciting to watch as these things slowly show up in your life because of your clarity and intention.

It’s so rewarding to watch as these things slowly show up in your life because of your clarity and intention.

If you would like to recreate this experience at home on your own or with a group of friends and get clear on what exactly your passion project is, you can:

  1. Set the mood by listening to some Binaural Beats from Hollis Baley’s YouTube to create a frequency of happiness for your manifestation.

  2. Learn how to create a vision board with this video and guide by Sarah Gunn.

We hope you craft a vision board that slowly comes to life for you as you dream, take action, and then dream again.

And if you’re ready to bring your passion project into the world, come and join us for a free day at T1ME & CO co-working space in Cabo. You’ll see what being in a space of co-creation can do for your mood, your ideas, and your inspiration.
